James Harvey Vander Kolk Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Harvey Vander Kolk (Buchanan, Michigan), born in Byron Center, Michigan, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Harvey Vander Kolk to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey VanderKolk and Marian VanderKolk (Alles); and his brother Jerry. He is survived by: his brother John; his son Brian (Kerry); his grandchildren, Julie, Abby, Alec and Brandon; his daughter Julie; his son-in-law Scott Vincent; his grandchildren, Colten, Taylor and Trevor; his great grandchild Jim; his sister-in-law Lori; his nephew Jacob; his niece Valerie; and also Kole. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.
Jim was diagnosed with cancer during covid, which in turn led to an ongoing series of health issues over the course of the next few years.
