He is survived by: his spouse Eileen Rae Thompson of Buchanan; his children, William Stroud (Jean), Gary Stroud (Linda), Kent Stroud and Storm Carlson (Brent); his grandchildren, Amy Chapman (Jason), Molly Nicholson (Terry), Jason Stroud, Morgan Carlson, Nacona Carlson, Nascha Carlson and Mairek Carlson; his parents, Charlie Stroud and Alma Stroud; his siblings, James Stroud, Millie Fox, Mary Hesch, Marge Seccareccio (Paul), Philip Stroud, Lana Heimbuch (Joe), Lloyd Stroud and Richard Stroud (Roseanne); and also Eileen. He is also survived by Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather.
