He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Stephenson and Myrtle Stephenson (Maul); and his sister Bethany Chesney. He is survived by: his wife Noreen Stephenson (Hill); his children, Michael Stephenson of Boyne City and Jeannie Stephenson of Ponshewaing; his grandchildren, Gretchen Cleary (Mark Crump) of Petoskey and Kristopher Cleary of Ponshewaing; his great grandchildren, Ava Barlock and Olivia Crump of Petoskey; and his sister Dorothy Elliott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
