It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Walsh of Bruce Township, Michigan, born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Walsh and Thelma Walsh (Kiernan); his wife Joy Walsh; and his siblings, Shirley Osterhout and Burt Walsh.
He is survived by: his children, Randaline Case (Rodney), Dustine King (Anthony), Rustin Walsh, Pamela Mayes (Curt) and Dean Walsh; his grandchildren, Megan VanPortfliet (Brian), Benjamin Case (Heather), Nathaniel Case (Melissa), Dana Galarowic (Joshua), Tonia Abarca (Aaron), Kristin King, Martha Olmstead (Darryn), Taalf Thorpe, Hestia Mayes, Stepp Mayes and Elyse Smith (Branden); and his siblings, Theodore Walsh (Viola) of Sault Ste, Ramona Siewierski of Sulfur, LA and Dale Walsh of Dafter, MI.. He is also survived by his 25 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Hospice House in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.
