It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy E. Nurmi (Bruce Crossing, Michigan), who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Nurmi and Mayme Nurmi; his brothers, Carl and George Nurmi; and his cousin Gene Nurmi.
He is survived by: his siblings, Edith Newby (Bill) of Maryville, TN. and Michael Nurmi of Bruce Crossing; his sister-in-law Barbara Nurmi of Watton, MI.; his nieces, Amy McCarthy (Dennis) of Columbus, IN., Peggy Grosso (Donald) of Paulding, MI. and Lisa Risku of Watton, MI.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cheyanne, Shaun, Paige, Dylan, Katelyn and Bodey; his cousins, Donna, Sandy and Armas; and his pet Lee-Roy. He is also survived by many other cousins, friends.
