He is survived by: his wife Nelly; his children, Tammy Mittnacht (Pete), Jeff Kaat (Sandy), David Kaat (Amy), John Kaat (Joletta), Tim Kaat (Alida), Stephen Kaat, Lois Byers (Luke), Joel Kaat, Sarah Wandel (Dan) and Mary Kaat; his siblings, Beatie Bourret, Bev Teetzen (Bruce), Janice Kaat, Lee Kaat (Judy), Gib Kaat (Shelley) and Ken Kaat (Colleen); and his sisters-in-law, Jean Kaat and Kelly Kaat. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
