We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2020, at the age of 67, Joseph Sharkey (Bruce Crossing, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Dr. John D.. He is survived by: his mother JoAnn (Shotka); his wife Dorothy J. Stenson; his siblings, William (Bill) of Ontonagon, James (Jim) of Ontonagon, Anne Scott (Tim) of Portland and Susan Shaner (Tom) of Meridian; his sister-in-law Diane Yanasak of Ontonagon; his nieces and nephews, Chad Sharkey (Sarah), Jared Sharkey, Kyle Fiszer, Zach Clark (Nikky), Jenna Sharkey, Sharla Sharkey, Mackenzie Shaner and Jetta Shaner; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kevyn Joseph Nordine, Jace Sharkey, Lochlan Sharkey Geoghegan, Ella Sharkey, Ava Sharkey, Haley Sharkey and Kayleigh Fiszer; his sister Patricia Sharkey (Patti); his brother-in-law Francis Yanasak (Fran); and his mother-in-law Elsie Stenson Ongie.
