He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Ron Hautamaki (Linda) of Goodrich, MI, Alton Hautamaki (Carol) of Bruce Crossing, MI, Eugene Hautamaki (Sally) of Trout Creek, MI, Ann Colgin (Tom) of Ontonagon, MI and June Reichardt (Bob) of Watersmeet, MI; his stepson James Kantola (Pam); his sons, Jeffrey and Jason; his siblings, John, Roy, Tony Hautamaki and Sharon DeVowe; and his sister-in-law Susan Hautamaki. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
