Charles Pitts Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2021, at the age of 82, Charles Pitts (Bruce Crossing, Michigan), born in Clifton, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Pitts and Irene Pitts (Richardson); his former wife May Anderson; and his brothers, Max and Robert Pitts.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughters, Christina Mayworm (Brian) and Kathy Sleep (Jimmy Collins); his stepchildren, Dean Ahola, Mark Ahola and Chris Ahola (Greg); his siblings, Jo Bishop (Jonas), Mike Pitts and Cindy Lynn (Randy); his sisters-in-law, Barbara Currence (Donald) and Carol Fredenburg; and his grandchildren, Lisa Trudeau (Collins York), Laurie Kuehne (Dan), Dustin Armbruster (Jenna), Heather Alatalo (Steve) and Jennifer Sleep.

In remembrance of Charlie's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
