We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Ann Pihlaja (Bruce Crossing, Michigan), born in Syracuse, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Nellie Christine Carter; and her brother William R. VanPatten. She is survived by: her husband Michael Pihlaja of Mass City; her siblings, Linda Barner (Larry), Dorene Pritchard and Kennett Carter (Margaret); her sisters-in-law, Cindy Russell, Sandy Pihlaja and Peggy Banach (Matthew); her children, Daniel Pihlaja and Jeri Pihlaja; and her grandchildren, Isaac, Emma and Alex Pihlaja. She is also survived by her 9 nieces, 6 nephews, 11 grandnieces, and 6 grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to help assist with Ann's final expenses. Please consider making a donation to raise much needed funds to cover the funeral expenses.
