She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Blouch and Clarice Blouch (Hood); and her siblings, David, Lynn and Claudia.

She is survived by: her husband Larry W. Kurtsel; her children, Inez Ogonowski (Joe) and Eric Kurtsel (Joe Taylor); her grandchildren, Alex Ogonowski and Alanna Ogonowski; and her sister Karen Fraser.
