He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen North; his sons, Richard A. Ahlgren Jr. (Brenda) and Randall Ahlgren; and his grandchildren, Adam Ahlgren (Kayla) and Alyssa Hohmann (Eric). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
