She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alan Martin and Clarissa Martin; her siblings, David Martin (Diane), Kathy Lowery (Steve), Danny Martin (Karen) and Laurie Diener; her friend Cindy Bissett; her husband Gerald Thiel; her sister-in-law Joan Jones; and her brother Paul Martin. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Sacred Heart Church in Brown City.
