With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard A. Bennett of Brown City, Michigan, born in Lapeer, Michigan, who passed away on July 8, 2024 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Leonard "Butch" Bennett Sr.; his grandparents, Chuck, Margaret Bennett, Shirley and Ken Hayward; his uncles, Pete Bennett, Gary Bennett, Del Hayward and Jim Hayward; his niece Kayla Cain; and his close friend Tim Walker.
He is survived by: his mother Sandra Bennett; his siblings, Kelly Bennett Cain, Ron Bennett (Carie), Missy Bennett (Frank), Kristi Bennett and Terri Hartwick (Kevin); his daughter Sasha Bennett; and his grandchildren, Nomi, Jayla, Lenny, Nala, Arielle and Eli. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
