He was predeceased by: his father William Deaton. He is survived by: his mother Norma Jean Deaton (Cooper); his wife Denise Smith; his children, Kevin J. Deaton Jr, Shannon Ann Deaton, Candy Jean Deaton and Ray W. Deaton; his granddaughter Lyla Dell Deaton; his grandmother Geneva Deaton; and his sisters, Tammy Clinansmith, Deanna Deaton, Elizabeth Westrick and Stephanie Potter.
