He was predeceased by: his father Murel Allen; his parents-in-law, Dorothy and Donald McCormick; and his sister-in-law Carol Jowett. He is survived by: his wife Gloria McCormick; his children, Tony Allen and Katie Bader (John); his grandsons, John and James Bader; his siblings, George Allen and Amy Allen; his siblings-in-law, Tom McCormick and Kathie McCormick (Terry Sumpter); and his pet Gibson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the family, in care of - Katie Bader, to be used for a musical tribute.
