She is survived by: her husband Charlie Mitchell; her children, Candice Johnson, Meredith Mitchell and Stephen Mitchell; her grandchildren, Kimberly Johnson, Tyler Johnson and Andrew Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Aliyah, Lillian and Videl; and her brother Keith Van Nort.
