He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma; his grandson Eugene "Sonny" Baer; and his siblings, Edward, Harold, Lloyd, Junior, Earl, Bertha, Norma and Irene.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Owens, Cheryl Woodruff (Roger), Gloria Farry, Judy Davis (Brian), Eugene Baer, James Baer (Kim), Rodney Baer and Richard Baer (Wendy). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
