With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Zelda L. Brackenbury of Brooklyn, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 67. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Sexton and Jewel Sexton (Brandon); and her siblings, Helen Schultz, Brenda Dickerson, Vicky Luce, Janet VonKaler, James Sexton and Jackie Hartford.
She is survived by: her brothers, John Sexton (Terry), Harold Sexton, Willard Sexton and William Watson. She is also survived by two sons; and three brothers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home (2959 N Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI 49221). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 4:00 PM.
