She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark E. Conant and Clarice L. Conant (Murphy); her husband Gordon L. Counts; her son Steven Counts; and her siblings, Clark Conant, Donna Brown, Joan Lagassee, Francis Perkey, Marilyn Smith and Betty Kendall.

She is survived by: her family Ruth; and her children, Gregory Counts (Laura), Nancy Turczin, Susan Geen and Pamela Counts. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
