She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse James; her child Juanita Meyernik (Robert); her parent Martha Adkins (late Herman); her siblings, Mike Adkins (Melissa) and Herman "Buddy" Adkins (Sue); and her grandchildren, Quinton and Evelyn.

Donations may be made to the Villalobos Rescue Center founded by Pit Bulls and Parolees and/or the Wounded Warrior Project.
