With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lora Harris of Brooklyn, Michigan, born in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on May 19, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Garrett and Shirley Garrett (Childers); her husband Larry; and her sister Virginia Watts. She is survived by: her children, Terry Morningstar (Dwight), Marla Scanlon (Joe) and Kimberly Harris (Tracy); her grandchildren, Kristen Jordan, Sara Spicer, Lora Morningstar and Corey Scanlon; her great grandchildren, Samuel Jordan, Bennett Spicer, Aubree Correa, Evelyn Spicer and Gabriel Jordan; and her brother Vernon Garrett Sr.. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
