He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Friess and Mildred Friess (Harris); his wife Mary Schumacher; his parents-in-law, George and Mary Schumacher; his siblings-in-law, Harold and Wanda Schumacher; and his nephew Steven Schumacher.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn Selasky (Steve) of Rockford, MI and Cheryl Aggeler (Chris) of Cedar Springs, MI; his grandchildren, Christopher Selasky, Mary Selasky and Jake Aggeler; his brother LeRoy Friess (Donna); and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Schumacher (Mary) and Charles Schumacher (Judy).
