He was predeceased by: his parents, Abdulla Yafai and Mary Yafai (McCartan); his daughter Alisa; and his son-in-law Graham Houston. He is survived by: his wife Terri; his children, Adam Yafai (Danielle), Yasmine Houston (Graham), Jade Yafai, Elissa Yafai (Devlin Broughman) and Travis Yafai (Marinna); his grandchildren, Bella, Alice, Agatha, Izzy, James, Joshua, Aiden, Atlas, Everett and Charlotte; and his mother-in-law Susan Edstrom.
