With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Douglass Lane of Brooklyn, Michigan, who passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frank Douglass Lane to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Lane and Edith Lane (Peterson); and his sister Iris Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lane (Weible); and his daughters, Lucinda Skinner (Brad), Sandra Raby (Doug), Brenda Collins (Patrick), Donna Janssen (Nathan), Patricia Taylor (Raymond) and Nancy Pollard (Jerry). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Community Bible Church (8400 Sharon Hollow Rd, Manchester, MI 48158). A burial will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Frank was a devoted Christian and member of the Community Bible Church of Manchester at 8400 Sharon Hollow Road, Manchester, MI 48158, where donations may be made in lieu of flowers.
