The passing of Eric Fritz Schirmacher of Brooklyn, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 18, 2024 at the age of 73. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Schirmacher and Darlene Schirmacher (Ettig). He is survived by: his pet Maverick; his wife Deborah Plate; his children, E. Fritz Schirmacher II (Julie), Jessica Trail (Rich), J. Ryan Schirmacher (Melissa), Andy Schirmacher (Angie), Spencer Schirmacher (Katie) and Gabriel Schirmacher (Carsyn); his sisters, Pam Eberenz, Denine Wells and Lisa Keesler; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Hannah, Gavin, Bailee, Parker, Chase, Ava, Mia, Emmy and Sofia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Stations of the Cross at the St. Joseph Shrine Catholic Church.
