He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Shubert and Jennie Shubert (Kazmerski); his brother David; and his nephew Mark Walby. He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret McShane (Vincent), Edmund Shubert (Marie) and Virginia Walby (Robert). He is also survived by five nieces and five nephews.
