He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Tackett and Margret Tackett (Greer); and his children, Ernest and Darlene. He is survived by: his wife Katie Johnson; his sister Marlene Hunt; and his grandchildren, Steven Tackett (Robin), Clayton William Tackett, Amber Tackett, Travis Tackett (Melissa) and Cody Tackett. He is also survived by 10 great-granddaughters; and 4 great- great grandchildren.
