It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Irene Bowen (Brooklyn, Michigan), born in Bemis, Tennessee, who passed away on July 17, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; her children, William D. Alexander, Jr. and Evelyn Alexander; and her great grandchild Zachary. She is survived by: her sons, David Alexander (Theresa) and Daniel Alexander; her grandchildren, Heidi Curl (Matt), Christina Alexander, Will Alexander, II (Valerie), Daneil Cox (Dan), Jeromy Alexander and Melissa Pickrell (John); and her sister June Spencer of Kentucky. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
