In accordance with her wish, cremation will take place and private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the charity of one's choice, c/o the funeral home.
Age 82, passed away on February 1, 2024, at Bronson Hospital surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Manton, MI, on June 22, 1941, the daughter of the late Price and Lucille (Butcher) Creed. Rosetta was kind, loving and generous. She had a servant's heart, was selfless with her time and gifts, and was known as a "mother to the world". On November 29, 1963, she married the love of her life Calvin L. Jones, who survives. They enjoyed sixty years of life together. Rosetta's passion was helping others which led to a career in Nursing. She graduated from Michigan State University and earned her LPN at Kalamazoo Valley College and went on to become a Registered Nurse. She worked at Bronson Hospital where she made a deep impact on her patients and the staff around her. She received the Hazel Latondress Award for outstanding nursing and retired after thirty-three years. When not working she enjoyed the peaceful things in life. She loved nature, flowers and a warm summer breeze. She remained proud of her "Manton roots" and returned up north many times. She was also deeply proud of her Indiana family. Above all Rosetta loved her family and she was extremely proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rosetta leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived and she will be missed. She is also survived by a special sister, Sandy Yonkers; two children, Craig (Brenda) Jones, Jennifer (Mike) Woolsey; grandchildren, Justin (Jenn) Jones, Stephen Jones, Brianna (Gabriel Moreau) Jones, Brooklyn Jones, Tyler Woolsey, McKenna Woolsey, Brody Woolsey; great-grandson, Marcus Campos-Jones; siblings, Maxine Price, Hartley (Nancy) Creed, Roscoe (Roberta) Creed, Ellen (Greg) Fauble, Tina Creed, Brenden (Kathleen) Creed; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was also preceded in passing by a brother, Stacey Creed.
