With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phyllis R. Sexton of Bronson, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Phyllis left this world on February 19, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Walker and Ruby Walker (Smith); her husband William "Lloyd" Sexton; her grandson Willie Sexton (Jaden Steffey); her sister Joyce; and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Hoard and Sally Stanley (Stan).
She is survived by: her children, Steve Sexton (Denise) of Coldwater, Doug Sexton (Pamala) of Bronson, James Sexton (Lula) of Union City and Suzi Hoard (Brian) of Coldwater; her grandchildren, Shauna Sexton, Erica Pelfrey (Josh), Dustin Sexton, Autumn Sexton, Gabe Sexton, Chelsea Inman (Sexton), Makeya Buell (Tyler) and Brelyn Birkman (Alex); her great grandchildren, Chance, Michael, Braydon, Jackson, Maddox, Kyleigh, Gabe, Aiden (AJ), Tobey, Lily and Tinley; and her great great grandchildren, Jordan, Hazel, Elvena and Emery. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dutcher Funeral Home - Bronson (321 E Chicago St, Bronson, MI 49028). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the First Congregational Church or Bronson Fire Department.
