He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Lutz and Marjorie Lutz (McDonald); his son Anthony Lutz; and his brothers, Paul Lutz and Bernie Lutz.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Pratt (Dave) of Burr Oak, Tim Lutz (Kris) of Kalamazoo and Anna Eddy (Mike) of Coldwater; his daughter-in-law Debi Ososki-Lutz of Grand Rapids; his sister Pam Herndon of Waterloo, IN; his grandchildren, David Wade (Erin), Brandon Dunagan (Elaine), Tyler Thompson (Missy Zerle), Austin Lutz (Tricia), Mykayla Lutz, Jordan Eddy and Breanna Eddy (Dylan Horn); his great grandchildren, Lawson Lutz, Addilynn Wade and Bailey Wade; and his former wife Sharon Wade of Burr Oak.
