It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Joan Calhoon of Bronson, Michigan, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Stockdale and Ada Marie Stockdale (Davis); her adoptive parents, Lynn, Ruth Ward (Buck) and Mary Joan; her husband George M. Calhoon; her children, Jolynn Calhoon Holsinger (John) of Sturgis, Jill Lane Bucklin (Jerry) of Bronson and Janet Lee Rifenburgh (Dana) of Bronson; her grandchildren, Joseph Rubley and Breana Miller Dules; her siblings, Edith Nichols, Ethel Cummings, Lawrence Stockdale, Doris Lilly, Billy Ward and Ruth Ann Wendel; and her sister-in-law Eliza Lane Hopkins (Calhoon). She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
