He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Lindsey and Zelpha Lindsey (Nickloy); his children, Bradley Lindsey and Susan; his brother Herbert; his sister-in-law Eleanor Lindsey; and his stepgrandson Devon Carpenter.

He is survived by: his children, Larry Lindsey (Sally) of Bronson, Jan Wetherbee (Mike) of Centreville, John Lindsey (Julia) of Bronson, Dave Lindsey (Kim) of Bronson, Kerri Wastell (Craig) of Danville, KY, Monica Carpenter (Mick) of Bronson and Lee Bidwell (Tom) of Bronson; his sister Kay Lockard (Tom) of Washington, IL; and his former wives, Carol Kirkum of Bronson and Barb Kolassa of Bronson. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Branch County Fair.
