He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard A. Gibbons and Zella L. Gibbons (Jenkins); his wife Linda Oversmith; his sister Bonnie Taft (Robert Taft); his niece Tamara Allison; his sons, John Gibbons (Torie) and James Gibbons; his grandchildren, Ava Facundo, Addison Gibbons, Erin Gibbons and Shannon Gibbons; his nephews, Steve Taft and Steve Allison; his great-nephew Tim Westenbroek; his wife's son Craig Lynn Weiss (Julianne Vi); and also, Olivia Lynn Weiss, Gwyneth Vi Weiss, Margaret Ainsley and Vivian Leona Weiss.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Richard A Henry Funeral Home (703 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI 49015). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the NRA (National Rifle Association) or the American Heart Association.
