James Roger DeMeritt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Roger DeMeritt of Bronson, Michigan, born in Wyandotte, Michigan, who passed away on March 12, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. DeMeritt and Beulah M. DeMeritt (Zeigler); his siblings, Harry, Jerry DeMeritt, Darlene Brewer and Joyce VanHorn; and his nephew Gregory Marcum.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Betty Goodman of Bronson; his children, Cissy DeMeritt, Jamie DeMeritt (DeMeritt) of Eugene, OR, Daniel DeMeritt of Coldwater and Thomas DeMeritt of Angola, IN; and his brothers, Herbert DeMeritt (Sheri) of Bronson and David DeMeritt (Ellie) of Bronson. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim can be made to the family to help with final expenses.
