He was predeceased by: his parent Herbert Daniel Carlson; his brother Herb Carlson (Connie Carlson); and also Beverly Carlson. He is survived by: his parent Madge Strong Carlson; his children, Jeff Carlson, Jill Carlson and Jean Sawin (Ben); his granddaughters, Gracie Sawin and Riley Sawin; and his brother Carl "Merle" Carlson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
