He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Crapo; his children, Shawna Ransbottom of Bronson, Doug Schlautmann Jr. of Bronson, Joani Morales of Sturgis, Chris Schlautmann of Sturgis and Cathy Doyle of Bronson; and his siblings, Jackie Fry of Bronson, Cindy Dunham of Bronson, Fred Schlautmann of Bronson, Joe Schlautmann of Bronson and Teresa Evans of Bronson. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews.
