He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Holt and Ernestine Holt (James); his wife Shirley Holt; his siblings, Marilyn Smoker and Marvin Holt; his granddaughter Jeri Linn Holt; and his great grandchild Maria Gutierrez.

He is survived by: his children, Louise Holt of Bronson, James Holt (Kathi) of Coldwater and Terry Holt (Susan) of Bronson; his grandchildren, Shawnelle Gutierrez (Rigo) and Jennifer Cline; and his great grandchildren, Dokoda Holt-Sharp, Kai Holt, Jaxson Gutierrez, Victoria Gutierrez, Robin Cline and Shannon Cline.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Bronson United Methodist Church.
