He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son William L. Dickerson (Josie); his parents, William F. Atkinson and Elvie Atkinson of Britton; his sisters, Gloria Lozano (Ruben) of Adrian, Alvia Atkinson (Mike Wotring) of Hudson, Lora Atkinson of Britton and Kathy Denniss (Richard) of Tecumseh; his grandparents, Kelly, Katherine Cole, Dillard and Edna Atkinson; his aunts and uncles, Dillard, Ralph, Howard, Raymond, Kenneth, Leroy, Betty and Ava; and his niece Cheyanne Denniss. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Billy's family for final expenses.
