He is survived by: his wife Kay F. Bovan; his sons, Kirk Scharp (Catherine) and Dustin Scharp (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Louis Simpson, Jordan Simpson, Amanda Flores (Scott), Alexis Green (Aaron) and Peyton Scharp.
