He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Steele and Lexie Steele (Kazee); his daughter Debbie Phillips; his grandson Jeremy Holtz; and his siblings, Marcia, Susan and Danny.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Harrington; his children, John Steele (Rita), Larry Steele (Dia), Robert Steele, Ellie Holtz (Jan), Kevin Reisig (Julie) and Josh Reisig; his grandchildren, Katie (Paul), Sarah, Daniel, Joseph, John, Chase, Kody, Samantha and Elizabeth; and his brother David Steele (Cheryl). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the The Quarry (15625 Hull Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Wounded Warrior Project or Hospice of Lenawee.
