She was predeceased by: her parents, William Beaton and Erna Beaton (Donner); and her sister Pat Shier. She is survived by: her husband Joe Sanford Sr.; her children, Joe Jr. Sanford (Annette), Kellie Thiede (Geoff) and Amanda Strand (Terry); her siblings, Bill Beaton (Glo), Jackie McNeil, Joan Glover, Barb Hartsell (Rich) and Sandy Woodall; and her grandchildren, Danielle, Katelyn, Brandon, Amber, Zach, Morgan, Taylor and Austin. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to Britton Baptist Church.
