He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. McTaggart and Alice G. McTaggart (Trout); and his sister Helen Eaton (Dan). He is survived by: his wife Rita Kindred; his daughters, Shelly Height, Cheryl McTaggart, Tamra Westerfield and Susan Swope; his stepchildren, Robert Davies, Christopher Davies and Tina White; and his siblings, Robert, Earl, Louis, David McTaggart, Lois McCall, Ruth Summelin and Alice Blaine. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
