He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Burton and Ava Burton (Voit); his wife Jennifer Dale-Burton of Bay Mills; his stepchild Lindsay Carpenter (Matt); his siblings, Linda Johnson (Ron) of Sault Ste, Peter Burton (Lori) of South Bend, Ind, John Burton of Brimley, Mich and Carolyn Dale; his siblings-in-law, Eric Gadzinski and Jane Palermo; his nephews, Del Shagen (Leisl), Paul Shagen (Jessica), John Arthur Burton (Amy), Erik Burton, Marcus Burton (Erika), Todd Theel (Danielle), Tyler Theel and Travis Theel; his great-nephews, Jesse, Jake, Sam, Justin, Preston, John Paul, Anthony and Ira; his nieces, Julie Hopper (Larry), Brook Burton, Oona Burton, Emily Gadzinski, Kirsten Hoover and Jamie Hoover; his great-nieces, Kaley, Sydney, Claudia, Emma, Isabella and Manisa; and his aunt Edith Voit. He was also cherished by many cousins, countless friends and beloved pets.
