He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Sams and Lily Sams. He is survived by: his wife Janet (Keskey); his children, Ronald Sams, Renee Sams-Cain (Rick), Becki Dunbar and Robin Sams; and his siblings, William Sams, Pat McLean, SueEllen Bonn and Leslie Chrisman (Darwin). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 45 Great grandchildren, 10 Great great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
