Fred Fredrick Kortman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2024, at the age of 84, Fred Fredrick Kortman of Brimley, Michigan, born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kortman and Laura Kortman (Gamlin); his parents-in-law, Samuel and Ada Zaldock; his siblings, Laura McArthur (Glen), Ervin Kortman (Dorothy) and Raymond Kortman; and his brother-in-law Charles Peace.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Zaldock; his children, Larry Kortman and Robin Kortman; his grandchild Kodey Ridenour; his brother Gerald Kortman (Tina); his brother-in-law Larry Zaldock; and his pet Sugar. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
Memorial Donations in Fred's memory may be left to the Chippewa County Animal Shelter, 3660 S Mackinac Trail, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783.
