He was predeceased by: his parents, William John and Mildred Burtt (Carr); his wife Marion (Burby); his son Don Burtt Jr. (Bonz); and his siblings, John, Dorothy, Carl, Earl, Ira, Irene, Clayton, Vera, Maxine, Freddy and Larry.
He is survived by: his sister Lynda Mihaljevic; and his children, Bridgette Dominquez (Mike) of Englewood Colorado, Joey Burtt of Glendale Arizona, Pattie Smallwood (Ken), Andy Burtt (Kimberly) of Oronoco and Dennis Burtt of Mesa Arizona. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
