She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Cavanaugh and Della Cavanaugh (Schwingen); her husband Milton DePlonty; her children, Ruth Burch and Raye DePlonty; and her great grandchild Ella King Weisenburger.
She is survived by: her children, Annette King (Wayne) of Sault Ste, Ross DePlonty (Marcie) of Marquette, MI and Laura Hammock (Larry) of Brimley, MI; her grandchildren, April Emmons (King), Tina King, Grant Hammock, Amanda Burch and Josh Burch; her son-in-law Pat Burch; her sisters-in-law, Stella DePlonty, Annie Bottrell (Wayne) and Teri DePlonty; and her close friend Linda Miller. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Hospice of the EUP or Chippewa County Animal Shelter.
