He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Trygve Haug and Myrle Haug (Karinen); his wife Diana Mayer; his children, Trygve Haug and Theresa Haug; his grandchildren, Timmy Greene, Tyler Finney, Kaitlyn Haug, Maya Greene and Allison Haug; his daughter-in-law Dana Haug; and his son Timothy Greene. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
